WTOP Reports Naked Fireman Placed on "Enforced Leave Without Pay"

Remember the controversy surrounding the Columbia Heights fireman who was photographed naked inside the firehouse on the 3400 block of 14th Street?

Well WTOP is reporting that the fireman, who was cooking eggs in the nude, "has been placed on enforced leave and is now the subject of a new investigation".

The main difference between the old investigation and the new investigation, according to WTOP's interview with D.C. Fire Chief Dennis Rubin, is that the man will now be on "enforced leave without pay".

If you are not familiar with the situation, here is the story we ran when it first broke on September 17:

Here is a very bizarre and a somewhat troubling story out of Columbia Heights.
