Mount Pleasant's Beauty Shining Through in October

I feel as though some people in the D.C. area forget about Mount Pleasant. 

It's understandable why.  Mount Pleasant is an incredibly small community surrounded by more "happening" hoods like Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, Cleveland Park, and Woodley Park.

Mount Pleasant might not be as big as other communities in the Capital City, and it might not offer as many food and drink options as others, but, in the Fall when tree leaves change color, Mount Pleasant just might be the most beautiful place in the city.

The tall trees engulf the roads like a canopy, their leaves a collage of colors, and the scene is absolutely picturesque.  Check out some of these photos, and go visit Mount Pleasant over the next few weeks to see it for yourself.  Don’t wait until all the leaves fall off!
